He also has appeared on more than 22 series, including Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. Qualls who was diagnosed at the age of 14 with Hodgkin lymphoma, is a strong fighter. The cancer returned to remission 2 years after the diagnosis. The treatment, however, at this early stage had a severe effect on his body and thwarted the development of his body. After he began acting, financial security was his aim. He'd experienced the poverty of his youth. The interviewer said that because the way he lived was so shabby for such a long time I was in need of security in my finances to feel secure and in control. Looking back at his youth, he wants to change the course of the problem of bullying. DJ states "Cruelty causes pain to my heart." In real life and on film, DJ's character would love to play the role of a father. He admits that Directors do not cast me in those roles. In the future, he'd love to have a child in order to be able to dedicate more time in order to spend more time with the newborn.
